Shopify gives you your own storefront, customer list and brand, but it does not ship your orders for you, and there is no marketplace standing between you and the buyer. Customers judge you directly on how fast their order arrives and whether they can track it. Fast, tracked shipping is what turns a first order into a repeat customer.
Orders fulfilled with tracking
When an order is marked as fulfilled with a tracking number, Shopify can automatically email the customer a shipping confirmation with a tracking link, and the order shows up in the Shop app. We fulfil each order with its carrier tracking number and log it in your portal with a PREP ID (ECO-…).
Fewer “where is my order?” emails
Live tracking from USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Royal Mail, Evri, Australia Post and more means customers can check progress themselves. You can also point them to our tracking page with their ECO number.
