This privacy policy explains how PREP Ecomalign LLC (“PREP Ecomalign”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit prep.ecomalign.com, create a client account, buy a membership or other products, book or track shipments, or contact us.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: name, email address, password, company name, phone number and location.
• Billing details: billing name, address and email. Card payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
• Shipment details: sender and receiver names, addresses and phone numbers, package details (weight, contents description) and delivery instructions.
• Inventory and marketplace order details: products you store with us, purchases from our warehouse marketplace, and marketplace order information we record for you (order numbers, products, amounts invested and profit).
• Messages: anything you send us through our contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and actions taken on the site.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see section 6.
• Tracking lookups: tracking numbers entered on our Track & Trace page.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your client account and membership.
• To receive, store, pack and ship your products, and to provide tracking updates.
• To process payments, renewals and invoices, and to prevent fraud.
• To show your dashboard, inventory, shipments and marketplace order reports.
• To answer your questions and send service messages (for example payment reminders or shipment updates).
• To keep the site secure (for example login protection and spam prevention).
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where data-protection laws such as the UK or EU GDPR apply, we rely on: performing our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and securing our services; your consent (for example for non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

• Shipping carriers and delivery partners, to collect and deliver your shipments.
• Payment processors (Stripe), to take payments securely.
• Service providers that help us run the site, such as web hosting, email delivery, analytics (Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity) and spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA).
• Authorities or advisers, when required by law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a business sale or reorganisation.

Some of these providers are located outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work (for example to keep you logged in, keep items in your cart and protect forms), and analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site (Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as logging in and checkout, will not work without necessary cookies.

7. How long we keep information

We keep account, shipment and order information for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as needed to provide records, resolve disputes and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements (typically up to 7 years for financial records). Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, login protection and secure payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can view and update most account details in your client portal or My account page. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may request information about the personal information we collect and ask us to delete it; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To make a request, email info@prep.ecomalign.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and notify clients of significant changes.
